Morning Room

Since we just moved in a little under 6 months ago, we haven't been able to complete many rooms.  One of the rooms that is complete (sans paint) is the Morning Room.

Hands down my favorite room, we eat all of our meals in here.  I absolutely love the chandelier.  It is the Orb Chandelier from Ballard Designs.  This one is the small version in Bronze.

The table is from World Market.  We were looking at the tables from Restoration Hardware but they were very expensive.  I think this gives us the same feel and it was far less.  It is the Arcadia Extension Table.  I really wanted a table with bread board type extensions and this table delivered everything on my list.

The chairs are from a seller off of Ebay.  I was very hesitant at first on the quality but they turned out to be quite comfortable for the price I paid.  I would like to eventually purchase (6) chairs that match the same wood tone as the table and put those in the dining room.  This will allow me to mix and match the chairs.

Family Room

Here is our family room.  I love how this room is coming together.  I do need an armchair for the corner next to the fireplace.

The most expensive purchase in my entire home is this sofa.  It is a LovSac sofa.  My husband wanted this sofa and ONLY this sofa.  It is modular so we are able to move the pieces around and even make different furniture with the pieces.  Currently we have it in a U-shape with a chaise lounger.  The benefit of this sofa is that all of the slipovers and liners are removable and you can throw them in the washing machine.  With a toddler, two dogs, a teen and a clumsy husband, this is a BIG plus.  The fabric was a special order in Dolphin.  The jean blue throw pillows were quite expensive for me, and were purchased at Kohls.  The others were found at Ross Stores.

The console table is The Everett from World Market.  I love this table.  I also love how it's a very popular table among bloggers and it fits many different styles.  Every time I see it on another blog I yell to my husband.."look, there's my table again"!  The candle holders are Southern Home and the potted plant and pot are from Ikea.  The baskets are from Lowes.

The mirrors that flank the fireplace were a DIY project and you can find the instructions here.
