EEEK!! Wrong Shutters

I went buy the house this evening to check on the progress.  As I drove up, I was so very happy.  All of the siding and trim is complete.  I noticed that they had installed a pair of shutters on the front of the house.  I absolutely love how the colors are coming together and am waiting for Monday when the stone will be installed.

I took a picture and as I started to send it to David, I realized....the WRONG shutters are on the house.  I am soo disappointed that I can't see what it really should look like. I feel traumatized that I saw my house with the wrong accessories.

All kidding aside, I think it should be an easy fix for Luke on Monday unless they have to order the correct shutters.  I hope it's an easy fix.

Here are regular shutters

These are Board N Baton Shutters.
They go with the Cottage Elevation I purchased.

Friday Update End of Week 8

Our PM called today.  He let us know that all of the pre-dry wall inspections had been done and today or tomorrow the dry wall installation will begin!

He also wanted to let us know that our Kentucky Stone was delivered and the installers were going to be doing that on Monday/Tuesday.  YAY!!  That was definitely good news as we had been told last week there was a delay with the stone manufacturer.

The city still has not moved the pole to allow for my driveway to be poured :(.  I'm fairly certain we will need one of those prior to move in.

Pre-Dry Wall Meeting and Guardian Walk Through

Today was the pre-dry wall inspection and our walk through with Guardian.  So far everything is running smoothly.  All of the extra outlets, rough-ins and lighting were placed exactly as we had asked.

We requested a few additional outlets in:

The master bedroom closets for a vanity or ironing board
The landing where the stairs turn for a nightlight or while vacuuming
The pantry for small appliances or a flashlight
The Master Control closet for extra components

For Guardian we got:

Surround sound pre-wire
Cable in all the bedrooms
Data in the loft and BR#3 (David's office)
Digital Pre-wire for the television in the Family Room

We had gone to the model home during the weekend to match the plan with where they put all of the outlets. We noticed that in the model it was missing some of the "standard" outlets that were actually on the plan.  But, I was relieved to find that all of the outlets were in my home!
